Continuum Yoga


Continuum Yoga is a balanced, flowing practice of Yoga postures, pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation that allows you to feel the deep benefits of yoga regardless of your level of physical mobility, capability or experience. After a class you can expect to feel more open and refreshed, energized and relaxed, peaceful and positive. All classes and workshops are held at our beautiful and fully equipped Continuum Yoga Studio by Lake Windermere, easy access from Kendal, Staveley, Ambleside and Grasmere.

In Continuum Yoga we offer yoga classes with a basis on functional anatomy. The teacher leads a meditative yin practice methodically stretching myofascial groups or a yang vigorous flow of postures that originates in the awareness of breath and progressively moves towards a more fulfilling expression of self; from stillness (yin) into a more dynamic (yang) flow and then back to stillness.

Our main base for Yoga is The Lake District, Cumbria. We are the only dedicated yoga studio in the Lake District.

Yoga Classes in The Lake District are run by Gabriela Maass, a Senior Teacher with the Yoga Alliance UK. Her teaching is the product of years of experience and advanced studies with senior teachers from the Iyengar tradition, Vinyasa flow and Yin yoga.
